Denver quarterback Jay Cutler was on the Dan Patrick radio show Thursday. It was Jay in rare form. Every time we hear him with the media in Denver, Jay is reserved and sometimes abrasive. On the DP3 show however, he seemed very relaxed and had some fun. Cutler even gave Patrick a rating for his interview skills. Check it out.

Mhcsports would like to extend a congratulations to Chauncey Billups for making the Western Conference All-Star team. The selection marks the fourth time in his career Billups will be among the league’s best. The honor is definitely well deserved as Billups has single-handedly altered the chemistry and mindset of the Nuggets since he came over in the Allen Iverson trade [...]

Miss part one? Catch up here.
Before we get in to the second part of this preview of the Rockies 2009 rotation options, it’s worth addressing again the two big pieces of news surrounding Rockies hurlers, which Bowen touched on in detail here. The Denver Post’s Troy Renck says the deal is worth $10 million and provides the Rockies with club options in years five and six. The club options could bring the value of the contract, if exercised, to [...]

The 2008-2009 season for the Denver Nuggets has brought a lot of pleasant surprises. At the the top of the list has to be the trade of Allen Iverson to the Pistons for Chauncey Billups. Billups’ impact on this organization cannot be overstated. Other nice stories make the list such as the return of Chris [...]

With the news that Peter Forsberg has begun skating with the goal of finding out whether or not there’s enough in his creaky ankles for one more shot in the NHL, it seems like an appropriate time to pay tribute to Peter the Great. I have called Forsberg the most sublimely talented athlete in Denver [...]
